Known for his versatility and dynamic performances, Austin<\/strong> plays the drums professionally in all styles of music, and is now one of the most recognized and sought-after drummers in Southern California. He has toured and recorded with many established artists in the entertainment industry, including Lauryn Hill, Carlos Santana, Robbie Krieger, Terrence Howard, India Arie, Roy Hargrove,<\/strong> and more recently Willow Smith, Gwen Stefani, Patti LaBelle and Dave Chapelle,<\/strong> to name a few. He has composed for and appeared on numerous TV and film projects, including \u201cStep Brothers\u201d (Sony), \u201cStudio 60\u201d (NBC), \u201cE-Ring\u201d (NBC), \u201cOne on One\u201d (UPN\/CW); The Cloverfield Paradox (Netflix)<\/strong> and \u201cTruth or Dare\u201d (NBC\/Universal)<\/strong>. He has also travelled to Iraq and Afghanistan, performing double-duty as tour manager and drummer, entertaining US Troops on numerous Army bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tony is the Drummer, Engineer and Producer for the acclaimed Los Angeles- based group, the West Coast Get Down (WCGD)<\/a>, a collaborative group of musicians born and raised in Los Angeles. Apart, they are some of the most sought after musicians in the world; together they are uninhibited innovators moving effortlessly through multiple genres of music. He Produced, Engineered and was the Drummer on the critically acclaimed WCGD albums: The Epic<\/strong> by Kamasi Washington<\/a>, a triple CD named one of Rolling Stone\u2019s and Pitchfork\u2019s \u201cbest albums of 2015\u201d, with The Epic Tour selling out arenas worldwide for the past three years; and UPRISING<\/strong>, by vocalist\/upright bassist Miles Mosley<\/a>, an album that debuted in Jan 2017 at #4 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart, #2 on the ITunes Jazz Album charts and featured on Apple Beats 1 Radio. He also engineered and performed on trombonist Ryan Porter\u2019s \u2018The Optimist\u2019<\/strong>, pianist Cameron Graves\u2019 \u2018Planetary Prince\u2019<\/strong>, and Kamasi Washington\u2019s<\/strong> 2017 EP “Harmony of Difference<\/strong> and 2018 release \u2018Heaven and Earth\u2019<\/strong>. He also partnered with Kamasi Washington<\/strong> as recording engineer and performer on the Emmy and Grammy Nominated<\/strong> music score for the Netflix<\/a> documentary – “Becoming”<\/a>, A chronicle of former first lady Michelle Obama’s<\/a> life via her book tour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently Tony Austin<\/strong> is touring sold out shows and festivals with the WCGD<\/strong> world wide for Kamasi Washington\u2019s<\/strong> critically-acclaimed new album \u2018Heaven and Earth\u2019<\/strong> (which along with being the drummer he also engineered). The tour started with both weekends at the acclaimed Coachella Festival<\/strong>. When off the road Tony is also currently Producing Miles Mosley\u2019s<\/strong> second album for Universal Music Group\/Verve<\/strong> and a duo project, BFI<\/strong> featuring Miles and himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tony Franklin – The Fretless Monster – Bio<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFretless Monster\u201d, Tony Franklin has played alongside some of the greatest
names in music history. He got his big break in 1984 as bassist in stellar
supergroup The Firm, with guitar legend Jimmy Page, vocalist Paul Rodgers
and drummer Chris Slade (AC\/DC, Manfred Mann\u2019s Earth Band). Franklin\u2019s
signature fretless growl was a distinctive and instantly recognizable element
of the band\u2019s first hit, Radioactive.
After two hit albums and substantial touring with The Firm, Franklin
subsequently performed with Blue Murder (John Sykes, Carmine Appice), David
Gilmour, Kate Bush, Whitesnake, Roy Harper, John Fogerty, Lou Gramm (of
Foreigner), Pat Travers, Tony McAlpine, Gary Hoey, Donna Lewis, Kenny Wayne
Shepherd, Italian superstars Vasco Rossi and Eros Ramazzotti and many others.
An in-demand session bass ace, he has appeared on hundreds of albums.
In January 2006, Fender proudly introduced the Tony Franklin Signature Model
Fretless Precision Bass guitar, a replica of the instrument Franklin has used

Bassist Norwood Fisher<\/strong> is a living, breathing piece of American history. As a co-founder of the undefinable band Fishbone, Norwood has carried the concept of freedom forward for all of us, first by literally and figuratively smashing the boundaries between cultures as a Black punk rocker, and subsequently by continuing to let his personal expression flow in the purest way possible. Norwood Fisher represents the real American dream, where creativity knows no limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bass legend Norwood Fisher<\/strong> is a founding member of the legendary L.A. band that’s named after him and his brother, Fishbone! From ska to punk to metal to funk, this guy can literally do it all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niles, Michigan native Jake Cinninger<\/a><\/em><\/strong> is truly a rare breed. His musical virtuosity starts at an almost unfathomable age, drumming prolifically at the age of 3. Cinninger had played more gigs by the age of 13 than many musicians have played in a lifetime. His musical knowledge runs deeper than the Pacific, with his ability to play a dozen instruments only matched by his extensive mental index of tens of thousands of albums (Jake finds something to love about every record). With a highly trained ear, Jake can extract the best tone from virtually anything in proximity. The man can plug a tennis racket into a rock and you can hear angels singing. In addition to Umphrey\u2019s compositions, Jake has written and recorded hundreds of songs running the musical gamut, from ambient sleep lullabies to Norwegian death metal masterpieces. Nothing is off limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When not melting faces, Jake can be found excelling at fatherhood. Currently living in the football mecca that is South Bend, Indiana, Jake splits his days teaching his kids the importance of mastering the Fisher-Price soundboard and writing the next rock opera masterpiece in his ever expanding Boon Dock studio. A lover of dogs and the simpler things in life, Jake is happiest strumming an acoustic guitar on a crisp fall afternoon in the Michigan sun while his family keeps him company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
