Stealin’ the Farm’s Moments Made of Gold album has been years in the making with songs old and new. It all started while we were playing a festival and the artist at large, Willie Waldman (Trumpet and Producer) who has and endless list of trumpet parts on various TV shows, movies and albums (TLC’s “Waterfalls”, 2Pac’s “California Love” and Snoop Dog’s “The Doggfather” just to name a few) stepped on stage to play a few songs with us. After our set, he said he really liked the songs and wanted us to record and he wanted to help produce. We were invited to Jake Cinninger’s (Umphrey’s McGee) personal studio, the Boondock Vortex, to record. We went in with the intention to record a three song demo but when we got there we were feeling creative and were having fun playing so we were able to get this album done in a couple days. With Willie Waldman and Jake Cinninger playing on it and helping us produce and Jim Leep engineering a pretty good team was created! We then went to L.A. to Skip Saylor Studios to record vocals and have the album mixed. It was then sent to Bernie Grundman for mastering (Michael Jackson’s Thriller among many, many albums). After lots of work it’s finally done and we are ready to give it to you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
